Keys2Drive Free Lesson
A free, government-funded lesson where the learner and their supervising driver attend together. The instructor coaches both — building the learner's skills on the road and helping the supervisor run better practice sessions at home.
Keys2Drive is a free lesson funded by the Australian Government, available once per learner driver. It is different from a standard lesson: the learner and their supervising driver attend together, and the instructor coaches both at the same time.
During the session, the learner drives while the instructor works on the fundamentals. The supervising driver — usually a parent or guardian — rides along and learns how to run productive practice sessions between professional lessons. Most families find it changes how they approach home practice.
To book, both the learner and the supervisor need to register at keys2drive.com.au and obtain a voucher beforehand. Bring the voucher to the lesson — no payment is taken on the day.
One free lesson per learner. After that, regular Auto or Manual Driving Lessons apply.
